With it being Bowl season, I usually am excited and everything. But this year, I am not that quite excited since UConn did not make a bowl game, first time since 2006. This was of course before I became a UConn Husky. Knowing the Big East (WVU) killed the ACC (Clemson) certainly didn't hurt but knowing that WVU is gone after this year is tough loss.  A great school in football and basketball.

In addition to this, UConn lost to Seton Hall which certainly did not help with my sports depression. I didn't get to watch the game though since I was at the IPFW/Southern Utah game (Go Mastodons). Needless to say, it was vastly different than a UConn game.

But lets look at the future. The Colts finish with 2 wins and the number one draft pick (I'm feeling Luck(y)). The Boston Bruins murdered Calgary 9-0 and are playing ridiculously well. The UConn team definitely has time to mature as a team and get it together for the post season and defend that national championship. The UConn women had a tough time with Baylor but I'm sure they'll come back strong. Being a Hoosier now too, it's great to see Indiana University (IU) doing so well, with spectacular wins against Kentucky, OSU, and now Michigan.

AAAAuuuuppppppp... West Virginia just scored again. This time on Clemson. Oh how that feels so good.
