10 Months

Looking back at the last ten months, it went by as fast as a snap of a finger. It seemed like just yesterday the three of us were moving into the same apartment; all of us were prepared for the madness that was bound to occur. I was transferring utilities to the new apartment, getting used to the new shower settings, and of course counting the number of steps from/to common places in the apartment. Now, I had to do the same with my newest apartment (it's terrible); even though it has the same setup as the apartment I first moved into when I arrived in Fort Wayne.
It was definitely a pleasure living with my two roommates (even through the countless punches); it was always an interesting time with them around and it made the time fly by. I'm not sure if I'm enjoying life much more but time seems to be moving faster than ever; or it's the fact that I am getting older and unit of days/months/years are becoming smaller percentages of my lifespan. I'm befuddled on whether to be joyful or somber about the past ten months going by so quickly. On one hand, I had an amazing experience; on the other, I wish it could continue forever. But life in a status quo can often get boring after a while; change is inevitable. While it's easy just to look back on your past, it's better to live in the present and look forward to the future.
I apologize for being so reflective. Why am I apologizing?! This is my blog!
