As I woke up at my parents' house this morning well before the sunrise, (don't ask why I can't sleep much when I'm home) I didn't know if the entire world ended and I was the lone survivor. Having the urgency to take my morning piss, I did just that without putting on my glasses because if the world did come to a end, I wouldn't want to see any of it that early in the morning. Talk about a rough start to a morning...
After several naps after reading articles online, I heard heavy winds and rain so maybe the world did fall apart. I opened the bedroom door and it was exactly how it looked the previous morning and the Earth was safe just as NASA predicted. Those guys must be geniuses! Unlike the guy (Camping) that predicted the rapture incorrectly multiple times.
But today does signifies a special day of the year though. Today is the official start of the winter season! The Midwest is feeling like winter as I write this and I am certainly jealous. Right now all I see outside is the liquid wet stuff; it's no fun at all. I don't even remember the last time I had a beautiful white Festivus!
Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
