Well 2012, it's been nice knowing you but the end is near. You've treated me to some crazy surprises and I thank you for that. I'm a better person for them too.
Who can forget the month of June... That was one ridiculous month that we had; I'm sure everyone involved can agree we will never experience anything like it in our lives ever again. It'll no doubt be the month that we compare other great months to and we'll say "It's no June 2012".
If 2012 has been filled with one thing, it would definitely be inside jokes. Countless numbers of them were to be had and an even larger number of people standing on the outside clueless of what was going on. **pointing to the ground**. It's difficult not to have inside jokes especially when you spend so much time with such great friends.
2012 was filled with politics that would want to jump off a cliff. I think that's enough of that.
This year, I did a ridiculous number of things for the first time, as read in this blog. From Electra's first ding, jet skiing, US Open, wedding, Kentucky Derby, actually enjoying dancing terribly, cigar, and numerous other things I am not mentioning (the list would go on and on. Some things shouldn't be mentioned here either.)
But most importantly, I spent the year with some tremendous people. I've had the pleasure of getting to know a few individuals extremely well and I love it. Life is about the people you spend it with and I'm probably the happiest man in the world. And because of them, I've developed into a better person and have become more familiar with who I am.
So long 2012, you will never be forgotten.
