2013
The next month or so I will be mistakingly writing the date with the year 2013. And every time, I will recap the year that was 2013. But not really...
Unlike most of the previous years, 2013 seemed to be more negative than positive in terms of reviewing the year as a whole. Maybe the negative people were just more vocal about it. Or the unlucky number 13 must have haunted people's years. There's no wonder why Alex Rodriguez had a horrid year; player number 13 in the year 2013. I can't even imagine what happened to him on Friday the 13th in September and in December.
2013 wasn't filled with as much fun as previous years, but I may have learned more about developing into a better individual more than other years. There are certain qualities that make someone genuinely more respectable and commendable. These are some things I have identified as aspects I can improve upon, as I written a couple days ago.
In 2013, I gained some sense of what I want in a relationship. I've been building my definition of what it means to love someone by talking to others about it. Less and less do I believe in love at first sight but more that it's lust at first sight which in turn may turn into love with time and effort (despite multiple people telling me "You'll know when you meet her") . Of course, I have much growth to accomplish in this area. It's interesting hearing various perspectives on relationships.
2014. The year of enthusiasm, openness, expectations, and communication. Bring it! Game On!
