Adaptation

You have all heard it before: You have to adapt, whether it is to the different weather, surroundings, or situations. It's the second step of the Kobe System, which of course eventually leads to success at success. Just look at failures due to the lack of adapting: Kodak, Circuit City, Borders, and maybe RIM soon. Google recently gave Nexus Q's to people who pre-ordered it for free because they saw the developer's response to the Nexus Q and will probably greatly expand the features of it; This is an amazing reaction by Google.
So why am I talking about adaptation? With recent major changes by friends (and more to come), I have been forced to acknowledge how things in my life will transform with those changes. Hopefully that didn't seem too selfish but I have to adapt to the alterations. The most difficult thing about what has happened recent is that I really can't affect the outcome. Even if I could, would I want to prevent change from occurring? My answer to that is: Absolutely not.
With all my friends, they are all strong-willed and intelligent and I have the utmost respect for them. As such, I respect all of their decisions. If I were not 100% supportive of their decision (with good reason), I would certainly discuss the matter with them (hopefully before they make the decision). Of course with some decisions, I will most definitely lose out but it'll be a better overall outcome in the end (My friends know best! Most of the time.). But no matter what, friends will always be friends (And those who you lose touch with, were they friends in the first place?).
So friends, remember I am always here for you (No matter what stupid things you do). When you need a shoulder to cry on, a person to talk to, a person to hug, or someone to just be there for you, I am here for you.
