Airports
I am currently in the emotional rollercoaster that is being in an airport during or immediately after decently sized snow storms. My original flight was cancelled yesterday, well before it's scheduled take off at in the morning. Then, I was rescheduled to a few hours later. But that was delayed due to the plane hitting a bird in route to TF Green. I wonder of that's common and if the passengers felt the effects from it.
In turn, I was worried I was going to miss my connection flight to Fort Wayne in Detroit. I ran through the terminal in order to make the flight but turns out it was a useless effort. But I didn't miss my flight, the flight has delayed due to a damaged panel on the wing. All that hustling for nothing! Now we're being directed to a different gate...
How much more up and downs can they put me through?! Mostly downs and I hate the feeling of falling. I'm just going to enjoy the ride. Google Now definitely keeps me up to date with gates and times; it's amazing!
Did you know... Detroit is in the Eastern Time Zone. I'm told that every ten minutes.
With the rules of turning off electronics gone (and the airlines seemingly taking credit), now we can hear the amusing leakage noise coming from loud headphones throughout the entire flight.
So much travel and weather talk...
