Airports During The Holidays

It seems like I've written plenty of blog posts in airports. But there is something special about being at an airport during the holiday season. There's happiness, joy, and excitement in the air. At a small airport like Fort Wayne International, there's not really any running or carts beeping down the terminals but I do expect that at O' Hare.
When I'm at an airport during the holidays, I feel like I'm in a Home Alone movie but just as an extra. I'm sure there is one family that experiences what the McCallister did in the movies once a year. Seeing people with wrapped presents is a wonderful sight; it takes courage and determination to deliver a gift like that (I would just ship it to the destination).
The most delightful sight of all is seeing children and their family traveling to see other family members. The faces and the excitement in the children's voices are priceless; pure genuine happiness.
