Anywhere in the World?

If you asked me where on Earth I would go if I can go anywhere, I would first answer with the bottom of the ocean (assuming I can go and return alive). Since that is currently impossible, I will response with my lifelong answer with Antarctica. With technology advancement, my dream is becoming more reasonable!

While there are only a few months of the year where visitors are allowed, sunshine is out 24 hours of the days and the most significant aspect, the penguins are friendly! It turns out that trips are pretty pricey; good thing I'm single (and young)! One of the options costs up to 40k... I think I'm prepared for the South Pole during the summer where highs get to 5 degrees because of last week's cold freeze. The coasts gets hot with highs into the 50s. The only cruise I would consider would be to Antarctica; otherwise, I just don't see the pleasure of cruises that are basically hotels on water.

I have much more studying and saving to do! Probably an once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Turns out Raytheon Polar Services does the staffing for US bases on the continent. Maybe that's my in!
