Bathroom Talk: Travel
It's been a while since I've written about bathroom talk. As a result, I am going to write about one of the most critical of bathroom matters: Being able to urinate/poop under any condition.
There are plenty of people I know that are bathroom shy. There are different degrees of shyness ranging from being able to only go in their home bathroom to essentially craving the attention that comes with publicly defecating.
Being bathroom shy can be a serious hindrance while traveling. It can definitively throw your schedule off trace if you have to accommodate shy bathroom goers. Some take laxatives and/or antidiarrheals to control their bowel movement to avoid awkward bathroom situations. Personally, I don't because I am capability of releasing waste in most bathroom environments. Though, I try to avoid bathrooms in buses and planes just for hygienic/comfort (mostly smell) reasons; there is nothing worse than attempting to hold your breath as long as humanly possible to avoid sniffing someone else's fecal matter.
So my pro travel tip is to learn how to urinate/poop under any condition; particularly if you intend to travel overseas. Remember Everyone Poops.
