Black Friday Success
I went. I saw. I bought.
I dangerously ventured off to the Providence Place Mall in the after-mist of Black Friday (after noon). It was a delightful experience entering the parking garage when I was headed peppermint sticks, chocolate, and a unusually useful coupon book while taking my parking ticket. I went in not looking for anything in particular (which is can be a problem or be advantageous).
I walked into the Banana Republic with swarming 50% off advertisements and saw the most beautiful gray pants. So, I grabbed them, waited in line, and purchased them after embarrassing myself by trying to use tap-to-pay that had been disabled.
Such a mundane story, I know. But you have to note the small details. Like how I didn't try the pants to see how they fit. My happy purchase can turn out to be crummy after it's complete (a process that takes months); this is all to often in my life.
Overall, the mall wasn't crowded, traffic was awful, and I didn't see anyone from high school so there weren't any strange encounters.
