Chance Time!

Chance Time! Millions of Americans will purchase a ticket(s) to play the Powerball today for a chance at over $550 million. Unfortunately, most of us will be Donkey Kong in the following video:
But unlike DK, we won't have as much control of tonight's drawing. The real winner, Yoshi. **Insert Yoshi Lick noise**
Buying a lottery ticket is the chance people take to be able to hope so that they can escape our lives and vacation forever. For me, it'll be a chance to start some of my ideas without having to worry about living a sustainable life.
But what would I do first? I know what I wouldn't do, I wouldn't fill the banana stand with money. I would probably do the same thing as I did with my first paycheck: Buy a Whopper meal. Of course it would have to be a Wednesday; having won $550,000,000 won't change the fact that I like amazing deals! Then, I wouldn't change much at all. I would live like I do now (which is quite well). Then after a year of planning how to spend my money, I'll spend 99.9% of it in a single day! Good plan, right? Thanks!
But I can't get my hopes up too high since I'm afraid of heights. Tons of people will stay way beyond their bedtimes in order to see the drawing. Maybe I'll do the opposite, go to sleep early and look at the numbers in the morning. And there is a better probability that I will win an Academy Award (according to something I read, 25 times more likely) so maybe I should take a chance at my acting career. It is sort of a dream of mine.
Finally, every time I play the lottery, I think of this infamous song (It's ridiculous that I couldn't find the actual commercial with the words):
