Unlike last year, I won't be with my family for the start of the new year. I'm certainly going to miss the traditions. The brown candy, the smell of burning incense, and the food (of course). 

Tip: You can usually figure out someone's age based on what their Chinese animal. There are 12 animals. So if someone says they're a monkey, they are a multiple of 12 (i.e. 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, etc). It's probably one of the most informal method of figuring out someone's age.
