Classic Tennis/Robots

If you didn't watch the Wimbledon Championship match this morning, you missed out on a classic. Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in a rollercoaster 5 setter. It was an emotional trophy presentation as Novak dedicated the victory to his wife and his unborn child. Even Roger Federer, father of two sets of twins, was spotted to have cried a tear. Emotions are so intertwined with sports; it's what connects us with professional athletics.
So, I thought: When will robots compete against people in sports? Will they ever be allowed to compete or will they be required to have their own league? Eventually (maybe even in the near future), robots will be able to play the sports that we do. We already have robots fighting each other just like gladiators did in the past. They are beating countless people in chess. Robots already have an unfair advantage with sport challenges being done by technology; of course the computers will be on the Robot side! So when will people build robots to play tennis? Maybe the NFL should consider replacing players with robots since the health concerns are getting too risky...
With that said, we should be careful about how A.I. advances... There are not many laws that prevent disasters...
