Comcast...
Comcast. What can I say? Great service once you're setup. Then after six or twelve months, you're paying extremely high prices. It's a great way of making sure Comcast users get to speak with Comcast Customer Service on a regular basis. Who doesn't like being go through dopey menu options that repeat and being put on hold?
This time, it took "just" four phone calls to customer service, two online chats, and a home visit to get fully setup. It's no wonder some people rather just pay the high prices so they don't have to deal what I have the past week.
Oh yeah, I had to set up a home visit from a technician since the set-top box sent to me was broken. Of course, the two hour window you have to be home is quite disrupting to a day. After trying three boxes, a working box was installed! The technician was extremely friendly. As with any other technician that has come to my place, he was impressed (maybe even jealous) of my Motorola Signal Splitter Bi-Directional Amplifier; it's been well worth the money!
Look at my setup now! Picture in Picture!

The big headlines of the day is Comcast's agreement to buy Time Warner for $45 billion; $5 billion short of Russia's spending on the Winter Olympics. If the deal goes through, Comcast will dominate the Cable market since Time Warner is currently the second largest provider (behind Comcast).
