Diversity Training!

I apologized in advance for the topic if it’s been pounded onto to you through various trainings!
There is so much diversity in the work place (How cliché of me!). So many different characters. And I love it. Every morning, I get reminded of this with the overly energetic man saying good morning to everyone in sight. Who knows where he gets the energy. I admire of his energy and commitment to be so welcoming everyday. I bet most people can imagine me being "that" guy. To be honest, I can too and I hope to be someday. Then, you have all the sports talk around the office, with everyone defending their respective teams.
More on the negative side, you have the person that gets upset and sometimes makes some ruckus (I like it, creates a more interesting dynamic atmosphere). But this is the way of life, something you have to deal with. For some reason, I feel like I get on the friendlier side of people. I don’t know what it is though, maybe it’s my beautiful personality or my friendly constant smile. But seriously, I really don’t know what it is. Maybe I am really truly a nice guy deep inside. Or maybe it’s how I love to make other people as happy as I can. This holds true for everyone except my brother; I love giving him a hard time.
Diversity is such a beautiful thing (I can understand if you stop reading because of the clichés). Even though it may not look like in appearance, everyone has his or her little corky characteristics and personalities. I loved the diverse group we had in the ECE/CSE department (It was great to have such a close-knit group, with Signals and Systems bonding us like no other class). Everyone was so different from one another, making every moment so fun and unique. How some people reaction to certain conversations (But after a few years, reactions seemed to settle) were great. I think we all developed as a group, learning how to deal with different personalities. This certainly helped me develop as a better person and I love that great group of kids.
