Down With The Sickness

A couple of weeks ago, it started in the office. Yes, the devastating first sick cough came into the workplace. The cough was one that was constant and seemed like the man was trying to cough up one of his lungs. And from that ill day, the number of coughs and sneezes has increased dramatically. And numerous lymph nodes will swell!
The Kleenex's tissues are plentiful; all ready to get blown on. The thick and sometimes colorful mucus will stick to tissues like dog hair sticks on couches. I respect people that try to silently blow their noses but honestly, is that even possible? You have blow it hard and it all! Push hard enough to get it from the throat. (I know what you're thinking. And my response is: Just Stop!). Clearing the throat seems to be endless and it's truly annoying. But it's only natural for the human people to do it.
Coughing is something that is seemingly impossible to control. It just happens. But as a child, my brother would hate when I cough. So, as a result he would punch me for coughing so I think I can control my cough better than most people. While my brother inflicted me pain for coughing, he also taught me the trick to controlling the cough. The trick is to swallow. Seriously, it helps like crazy! I hate the constant and long periods for coughs. I especially despise the dry coughs because most of them can be helped with a drink of water (Or swallowing).
I wish we had sick days here; then, people would actually stay home when sick. Even though PTO is made for sick days too, people see it as vacation days. So the healthy people at the workplace is the loser, all they gain is an illness.
So to conclude wash you hands for 30 seconds, cough in your sleeve, and don't share those dirty germs!
