Driving Companion

5 AM to 5 PM. Two stops. One meal. Return Complete.
Over 1800 miles traveled.
It's been a long day of driving. Luckily I had a companion in an unknown fellow Rhode Islander in a black Ford Focus (assuming from her license plate) to help me keep occupied through Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio on I-80W. It's great having a stranger to drive along side with; there's sort of a relationship that develops between drivers with similar driving habits especially for long distance drivers. I would estimate that I drove along with this Rhode Islander for at least five hours (even after having been separated by a toll booth where I have EZ Pass and she didn't). I felt terrible having to exit to get food because of my extreme hunger. It was such a distant relationship.
I hope the black Ford Focus got to its destination safely without any traffic!
