Electric Shaver: Just Like New
It's been over a year and a half since I purchased my electric shaver, the Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 Men's Electric Shaver Wet/Dry with Nanotech Blades. It was getting dull and I was about to purchase another shaver. As you are aware, I have facial hair similar to a wolf and it grows at a monstrous rate, like all Asians. Instead of having five o'clock shadow, you could probably call mine, three day shadow. Being lazy and not having had someone to teach me razor shaving techniques (and being scared of cutting myself), I have always used electric shavers.
I figured that I should see if replacing the blade and outer foil would eliminate the dullness I had recently been experiencing instead of buying an entire new shaver (which I would usually do). At less than $30, it was worth the try. It was a successful purchase as the shaver works like I just purchased it!
So would I recommend the Panasonic ES8103S? It's easy and works on my baby sensitive skin (I'm not really sure if I have sensitive skin but I do have a baby face?...). The trimmer for the sideburns is amazing; not sure how people love without it. In a hurry to clean up for a date? Well, you can bring the shaver into the shower and multitask. After a year and half, the battery still lasts like new. Otherwise, it's just a solid electric shaver. Be wary if you have thick facial hair.
The lesson here is rather than replacing the entire shaver, replacing the blades and the foil is a good solution. And it's cheaper! And more environmentally friendly?
