End of the world
What would you do if you had only three weeks until the world ended? That's the premise of the movie, Seeking A Friend For the End of The World. The movie was not a great film but the concept provoked thoughts on what I would do in the situation. I think I would immediately move back to Rhode Island to my family. Then spend time with family and friends there for the last three weeks with tons of tennis!
If everyone knew the world would be destroyed in three weeks, would the world go into mass chaos as seen in the movie? As an optimist, I certainly hope not but it's bound to occur. It only takes a small group of rioters like it did in England and how baseball bats sales increased by over 6000% on Amazon. Maybe people just wanted to play baseball really badly?
People always say to live life like it's your last day on this world but this is a terrible idea. If I were to live everyday like it's the last, I would not work and spend time with the people I care about the most. But good thing I don't live life in such a manner; I wouldn't have met so many people that I now know! Life is about building strong relationships and enjoying them.
I guess this subject may come up more often since December 21, 2012 is near!
