Engineering Movies
So as an engineer, I have high interests in the science fiction and fantasy genres. I just assume that this is true for all engineers. I assumed that all engineers have seen Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and even Harry Potter. All such great series of movies! All of them distinctly different of each other. I assumed if they didn't love them, they would have seen at least one movie from that set. But tonight, I was proven wrong by two engineers! Both have never seen a single movie in any of those series. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! It hard to believe that they are even considered to be engineers! Joke... But seriously...
It is pretty awesome how some movies are so influential to specific types of people. Like how the computer science community seems to be in love with TRON. But seriously, who isn't in love with TRON. Star Wars and Star Trek has been significant to the technology industry, or even anything to do with science. While I talk about the science fiction genres, this applies in a general sense too. Like I'm sure animation lovers are influenced by Toy Story just as much.
