First Snow
The first snow has come and passed (a few weeks ago) but some people didn't observe it since it only lasted less than a hour. And without pictures (and the Snapchats have disappeared), it never happened?
So the meteorologists are predicting the snowfall this week for Fort Wayne (and much of the northeast). The public seems to despise the word "snow"; almost like "Voldermort" in the the wizard world before Harry Potter defeated that villain. There certainly won't be a Harry Potter to stop the snow. So once drivers on the streets see the "white stuff" for the first time every year, they immediately fail to remember how to drive. And it doesn't matter if it's just a flurry. Their reaction is worse than how a teenage boy forgets how to talk when approached by his grade-school crush. But in this case, people's lives are actually affected. Driving 5 mph because you see slight flurries is not safe.
With cold weather, comes daily morning ice scraping. I have discovered some Star Wars Wampa scrapers online...
