Fort Wayne Arts

Today was Fort Wayne's Taste of the Arts event. As per my love for food, I went for lunch and I was disappointed by the quality of food for the price. I must them credit for having local restaurants contributing to the festival unlike the carnival food at most of the other festivals.

This event was much more impressive than I had anticipated. Sweetwater and local radio stations sponsored several stages of live music; most of which were enjoyable walking music. I even took to few minutes to listen to a local rock band. The art was decent but not much of it was out of the ordinary of what you would see anywhere else.

The most interesting thing I learned about in the event had to be TekVenture. It is a makers stations with assorted tools including 3D printers. Currently it is only a trailer, but they are looking to find a permanent spot.
