From a Trip from a Mall
You can learn quite a bit of things about people from a trip to the mall. These are some of the things I observed today.
-People love Auntie Anne's pretzels here, so much that there are two full stores in this mall. That's not all, at one of them, there were about 6 tables full of people eating their wonderful pretzels (cinnamon is the only way to go).
-Glancing into a restaurant, I saw many families. Most of the men had their eyes fixed the television while the ladies looked like they were conversing with people in their party. I guess football is important here or the lack of interest in the conversation. Probably both though.
-Sometimes I wonder how some of the stands at the mall stand to exist. For example, how does a oxygen bar with cool colored oxygen survive this economy. Who exactly buys some revolting looking cell phone cases for $5, only to break the day after?
-Even though the Colts have had a rough start, people continue to wear Colts merchandise. Is this because they have tons of pride or the lack of awareness of the terrible start?
-Macy's is now offering free Wi-Fi! Because people love having wireless internet while shopping and hanging out there. I wonder if the cash registers and such rely on the same internet. If so, would it be possible to have tons of people go into the store and slow the speed of their registers?
-Nice to see Barnes and Noble to be nice and lively. There's something special about going in a book store and looking at different books. It's something that Amazon, iTunes, and other online stores cannot offer. As much I think it's great to have recommendations from what I have previously bought, it's nice to explore other realms.
Maybe more to come!
