Frozen Love
If you know one thing about me, it should probably be my affection for icy beverages. I adore the consistency of crushed up ice. And getting a larger piece of ice that hasn't been fully blended may be one of the best feelings in life. I love the assortment of frozen drinks including smoothies, ICEEs, Slurpees, and so much more. So where it it all begin?
Well, as a native Rhode Islander, my fancy for icy drinks began with Del's Lemonade. And for those who don't know what that is, I'm sorry but you have haven't lived a fulfilling life. Also, Newport Creamery's Awful Awful's turned me on to thicker consistency drinks; the Oreo Awful Awful's are the best! Again, you are missing out on a significant part of life if you don't know what an Awful Awful is (really just a milkshake but since it's from RI, it's much better).
My favorite bar in town serve smoothies (pictured above)! But I don't know how I feel about the whipped; first time I've encountered that (that and being served in a mason jar). So many fond memories (and many to be had) with these cool cool beverages; Del's with my brother after night session of tennis at Stadium, random Huskymate trips to 7-Eleven for a Slurpees/Cumberland Farms, and so many more.
