Get Fit

With work taking up eight hours a day for five days a week, it's tough scheduling time to do everything. It seems like the only thing that can be cut is the hours of sleep. Between work (Almost 8 hours of mostly sitting), sleep, learning to program, eating (Sometimes cooking), and other hobbies, it's very strenuous to get exercise in the daily routine. Especially in the winter, it's not easy to just take a quick run to boost the heart rate up.
But lately I have been doing small amounts of activity as a healthy and relaxing break from trying to familiarize myself more with programming for Android. It's been resorting to that for a physical break and writing a blog post to ease my mind. I think this will work out very well for the rest of the winter. But once the temptation of tennis comes around with spring, the routine will have to change.
But it's always satisfying hanging out with friends and getting some heart pumping activities in. Like the recent fierce competitions of bowling competitions (I'm not obsessed with bowling...). With the game going down to the last frame or just the movement of arms giving tons of the high fives! Or maybe me just jumping up and down because of my excitement of bowling!
Sometimes shooting hoops with your doppelganger is a great time and cardio. Then, beating two toddlers in basketball is of course tiring. Only to beat a couple of high school kids, who thought I was 16 and thought Anti-Matt-er (My doppelganger's great nickname) was slightly older, in a old fashioned pickup game to 21 immediately after. But getting exercise can be as simple as walking around with tons of bags while shopping. It's harder than most people think (Shopping for hours and hours is a physical and mental strain). Dancing is also a great way of getting your sweat on. Maybe climbing a slightly slippery stripping pole to the top can be an activity you can do. Who said working out at a gym is the only exercise you can get? Just jump when you're hanging out. I may or may not have done all previous mentioned things this weekend...
And thanks to Kanye's Workout Plan, I'm the envy of all my friends!
