Gift Ideas 2015
It's almost time to being in constant stage of not knowing what to get people for the holidays. So I will offer some ideas. I tend to gift things I think people would use more frequently than not (functional). I'll attempt to suggest ideas that would appeal to most... (I think)
1. Clothes Steamer: If you will love someone and they don't have one already, you'll get them a steamer. I can't say this enough. I have this one and I love it; it heats up so quickly.
2. A more advanced board game: I'm not talking about Monopoly or Life. Something like Munchkin, Dominion, and Settlers. These games kind to be more playable (and less luck).
3. A good pair of headphones. It helps especially if they like to travel. I love my Audio-Technica M-50's (there are newer versions M-50x).
4. Winter accessories- I wouldn't think these would be good gifts, but over the past few years, I've continually to love my scarfs and gloves more and more every year.
5. Cast-Iron Pan: Everyone needs to learn how to cook. Why not get one of the most universal tools out there? Lodge is a inexpensive and great brand. It's my favorite thing to cook a mean ribeye in (seared then into the oven)
6. Hobby Kit: Assemble a kit that allows someone to get into a hobby you think they may enjoy. You may inspire a passion.
7. A free photography session with me.
Customized holiday cards are always great too!
Keep in mind, I have all of these and don't need them personally. Sorry, can't be too nice for those who plan on gifting me anything; I don't need anything!
In thinking of this list, I realized how many terrible gift ideas there can be. I will keep this list to myself in order to avoid insulting anyone that may have gifted any of those items.
