Gigantic News

Good news everyone! Jurassic Park IV had been announced to be released on June 13th, 2014! This, of course, comes after the announcement of the re-release of the original film converted into 3D on April 5, 2013 for its 20th anniversary. Jurassic Park IV is not going to be the same since Michael Crichton, the author of the books, passed away in 2008. It seems like the fourth movie will have the same director, Joe Johnston, and Steven Spielberg will be a producer once again.
It's definitely been a long-awaited wait for this movie for many people since the last film in the series was not that great. The original film created almost impossible expectations for the sequels. I was captivated from the opening scene of Jurassic Park; "Shoot her!". There are so many memorable scenes in the original film that the sequels never had for me; from the opening scene to flying to the park for the first time with John Williams' masterpiece theme song to the crazy DNA introduction movie to the infamous ledge that wasn't there in the previous scene to Newman's crazy tactics (crazy computer programmers) and his encounter with a Dilophosaurus to basically every scene in the movie. (Though I may be more obsessed with the movie than most...)
Good news for Jurassic Park fans, animatronic dinosaurs are here to stay and won't be completely eliminated!
I've been yearning for this movie for too many years; it's about time!
