Golf

Golf. A sport with wonderful sights: the different lengths of grass, the open fairways surrounded by green trees, the smooth sand, and the open sky. Even the sounds of the golf course is just as marvelous: the birds chirping throughout the course, the orgasmic sound of the driver making perfect contact with the ball, and the soothing sound of the iron striking the fairway immediately before taking the ball into the air with a sizable divot. Televised golf makes the game look even more stunning and simple.
Ideally, golf is a tremendous sport. Then, you actually play the game; it's the most frustrating sport I have ever played. I think what makes it's it difficult is the difference between practice and playing the actual game. On the driving range or practice, you can hit multiple shots in repetition. On the golf course, you have the time between shots which usually includes walking; and you only have one shot. The sport is deceiving with its beauty; it's extremely unforgiving. Golf may make me hate the "little things" because it's the subtle aspects that make the sport so troublesome to master (or even get decent).
I'm topping the ball majority of the time. It's the worst. I may have hit my golfing prime on my third attempt but it's only downhill from here. Time to hit the driving range and the golf course as much as possible!
