Google Domination

Today Apple released the most downloaded iPhone Apps:
TOP FREE APPS:1. YouTube2. Instagram3. Draw Something4. Flashlight5. Facebook6. Pandora7. Temple Run8. Pinterest9. Twitter10. Skype
TOP PAID APPS:1. Angry Birds Space2. WhatsApp3. Draw Something4. Camera+5. Where’s My Water6. Angry Birds Star Wars7. Fruit Ninja8. Angry Birds9. Bejeweled10. Tetris
These lists says many things about the iPhone and the people that use it. Content rules: YouTube no doubt has the largest selection of videos. People love to connect: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Skype, WhatsApp, Draw Something. This isn't anything new. People with iPhones love to play games and are not afraid to pay for it. It's amazing that classic games like Bejeweled and Tetris are still top apps even they cost money. Lastly, majority of iPhone users don't have productivity apps? Well, the same could be said for Android users since the top applications are quite similar.
But I think Apple released this list too early though. Maybe they purposely released it on the day that Google released Google Maps for iOS. There is no doubt that Google Maps will dominate the iOS App market right next to YouTube especially after Apple's Map application led to people getting lost in a national park and was life-threatening. (Australian police warned that Apple Maps could kill)
And shouldn't the "Flashlight" application just be a feature on the phone?...
