Google Photos Gets Even Better
If you know me, you probably know how much I love Google Photos. It's probably one of the best services around. And it's about to get even better.

First, Google Photos can be set to alert you when storage on your phone is running low. You can also set photos that have been backed up to the cloud to be deleted on your phone to free up some storage. This is only available on Android for now; it will be coming to iOS soon.

Starting today (Wednesday), you'll have the option to convert all your photos in Google Photos to "High Quality" (16 MP or less) photos, which don't count towards your Google Drive storage limit. This is huge for those who have been using Google Photos before they added unlimited "High Quality" photos. I have an estimated 9.9 GB of photos that can be converted and free up Google Drive space. It is something I've been waiting for since they announce unlimited High Quality storage.
I'm really impressed on how Google Photos continues to improve; can't say that about many products/services.
