Google Updates

Right now I'm listening to music suggested by Google Play Music based on the context I give it. This feature was Songza's best feature and it's now on Play Music after Google's acquisition of the company. Now I can choose a playlist based on my current environment like "Winding Down" or "Staying Up All Night" or "Working Out". It's a great feature! What a great method of exploring new music.
Google tends to add things without much marketing and majority of the little things go unnoticed. One of my favorites updates is to Google pages. Most, if not all, have a menu-like selection on the top right of the page:

The application logo is very similar to the one that exists in Android. And it gives the user easy access to this applications/site without any typing. It's really convenient that every time I open a tab, this menu is there.
Hopefully notifications will include SMS/MMS/Phone calls soon. I know this feature will be available on Chrome OS eventually but just imagine if any Chrome browser could do this.
And what's that little chat box button with a + in it? Well that's the easy access button to share something on Google+. You know that social network that all your friends use. Looks like Google isn't giving up on their social network and I'm actually glad since I think it has so much untapped potential. Too bad the reputation is nearly at rock bottom with the general public.
I still can't believe other social networks are not allowing gif files for profiles. I love my Google icon! Thanks Auto-Awesome! I was so young!
