Greatest of All-Time?

So I've been pretty busy with work (Paid and unpaid) lately. I apologize to you if you expected some new reads the past couple days. But after some discussion with my doppelganger (Plans to get a picture together have been initiated, suggestions for what to wear or what pose to do are highly recommended [I'm taking my signature two thumbs up]), our opinions of the best console vastly differ.
In his crazy mind, the best console was SNES. While in my opinion, the N64 is the best console. While both made great contributions to the video game history, I think the N64 made a bigger impact. A friend, Tommy Boy, agreed with me but does not mean much since he was not allowed to have any video games prior. My doppelganger and I probably disagree due to our age difference, around 4 years (He's getting elderly with his white hairs). He grew up with the SNES with great games like Mario Kart, Metroid, Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Mario 2, Donkey Kong Country 2, and his favorite EarthBound. I also learned that Super Mario RPG was on SNES, I never knew it even existed.
While those games were good, the Nintendo 64 had a list of classics too. There are the two Zelda games, one being arguably the best game ever, Harvest Moon 64 (Countless hours with this one), Super Mario 64, Mario Tennis, WWF No Mercy, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros, Tony Hawk (One and Two), Perfect Dark (Best Shooter Ever), and so much more! This is day I remember opening the wonderful N64 box. Even though my brother hogged most of the time with the console, I had my opportunities to play the multiple player games with him. It was some great bonding times we had, of course me losing most of the time. After a certain amount of time, I started to realize the greatness these games had. They all deserve to be called classics.
With that said, it really depends on the individual for what they think is the best console ever. For my doppelganger the SNES certainly bring nostalgic memories. While I do have nostalgic memories with the NES and SNES also, I definitely have much more with the N64. The great times playing Mario Party all night with my siblings and cousins, hurting our palms from that cursed joystick! I'm sure the older generation feels that the NES is probably the best console. It may have made the most significant impact to the industry, but each console (Even the Dreamcast and Virtual Boy) has contributed to what video gaming has become.
