Health Store
I recently walked into a health nutrition store with a female friend. The two employees were two muscular men who in fact probably use products they sell in the store. But I was made uncomfortable by the facial expressions they made while entering the store. They first stared at my friend then looked at each other; then they looked at me to undoubtedly judge me for my slim (yet athletic) figure.
And the copious vitamins and other nutrient supplement products are overwhelming. Products ranging from hair growth to cleansing to sexual vitality. During checkout and asking whether my friend wanted to join their stores' member's club (which every store seems to have), a male of average size walked in with a drink. The employees noticed and were immediately enraged; and one walked towards the potential customer but the customer left before the employee could get to him. After this incident, the employees discussed it and even said "What the heck was that guy thinking?!" in front of my friend and me. I was disgusted by this behavior and wanted to leave the store immediately; it was completely disrespectful. I completely understand why the store is nearly empty all the times I've seen it. (Brick and mortar stores must provide personable customer service with proper knowledge that can't be replicated by online stores)
To the employees, the jerk store called and they said they're running out of you!
In other news, my reduced sodium diet seems to be lowing my blood pressure! Success!
