Heat

What a great team the Miami Heat were this year! With LeBron, Wade, and Bosh, there were basically unstoppable as first predicated two years ago. But I'm not here to talk about that Heat. I'm also not going to discuss the great movie, Heat, with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and of course Hank Azaria (I guess I should give credit to Val Kilmer too). I'm here to discuss the outrageously high temperature Fort Wayne, IN has been experiencing the past week of so. It should not be a constant high of over 90 over a week! And it should never be in the triple digits in consecutive days! Someone needs to fix this!
It has reached 100 or above in one place or another in over half the states in America. That is absolutely ridiculous. I will not debate whether human civilization has affected these high temperatures or not (Mostly because I have no knowledge on the subject matter). Fort Wayne, IN (108 degrees!) was hotter than Austin, TX yesterday! June has been a record-breaking month in terms of high temperature around this country. And with the heat, low pressure, and high winds, I experienced my first tornado warning; and it was quite the sight outside. Thankfully it did not cause any major damages.
While some high temperatures are enjoyable, triple digits are not. It's difficult to do anything since the air quality is terrible and you'll be sweating bullets just by being outside. The worst part about this weather is the lack of rain; the grass and plants are dieing! Burn bans may affect the firework celebrations all around this great country; It will certainly be disrupting tonight's fireworks at the least.
