When I'm at my parent's I feel overwhelmed by the technology in the House. Sure there are three decently sized HDTVs in the home but none of which are connected to any services that I would actually enjoy watching. So, I couldn't even enjoy any football from the couch! It's sad that these great televisions won't see much playing time. 

There's a lost comfort that I don't have here that I have at my own apartment. Maybe it's the lower temperature or that watching everything on my tablet is just not optimal. I wish I thought of bringing my Chromecast with me... Sitting on the couch is easier to view movies than in the bed especially with the various uncomfortable positions holding the tablet. And there is less multitasking without my trusty aged Macbook Pro along my side. 

And all of this last minute Christmas shopping has deterred me from anything close to any retail marketplaces. So the result of all this is this charging mess:

It's odd realizing how my parents and I live such different lives.
