How Would You Rate Yourself?
We live in a society where it's enjoyable to assess everything possible. You have Rotten Tomatoes for movies. IGN for video games. Tinder, a recent "Hot or Not" dating application. Amazon has some hilarious product reviews with.
In a great recent movie, someones asks a teenager, “How do you rate yourself on a one-to-ten scale?” (Guess that movie!)
The teen answers with "six" with no confident. The questioner responds with "“I’d put you at a three. You don’t go out, you don’t make an effort – to me that’s a three.”
Only you have the ability to answer that question honestly. Only you know what your fitness level really is even though you may look fit to everywhere else. Only you can judge how great of a friend you've been to everyone and how much you can improve on that. There are little details in our lives that aren't shared with the general public nor even your closest friends.
But it's probably not the healthiest thing to rate yourself on a scale from one-to-ten. I have incredible strengths but there's always room for improvement as an individual. I wish I could code like a 10x engineer. I can become a better friend to everyone by being more accommodating. I can definitely eat healthier; though I've cooked twice this week! Improve. Improve. Improve.
