I have the Fever (Updated)

I have the Fever. The Indiana Fever, that is. I'm sure you already know but just in case you don't, the Indiana Fever are in the WNBA Finals against the Minnesota Lynx. The Fever won game 1 in a dominant fashion but Minnesota came back in the second half of game 2 with numerous three-pointers.

I'm in a tough position; Do I root for my new found home state or stay faithful to fellow UConn Husky, Maya Moore who may be considered the best women's basketball player to have ever lived. She certainly played well in the last game.

I will be attending tonight's game 3 in Indianapolis at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The environment should be electric! I can't wait to watch Maya Moore play again; just like my college days!

The Fever were on fire today!

The Lynx had no chance; they didn't play very well at all. Surprisingly, Maya Moore just wasn't playing like herself tonight. The Fever were high today and it was contagious; the crowd was hot and loud! The atmosphere was much more electrifying than I expected! It may have been louder than the Pacers game I went to earlier in the year. Note that the picture above doesn't do the crowd justice since many left to beat the rush minutes before the end of the blowout (including Colts WR Reggie Wayne).
