Ice Cream Sandwich

So Android Ice Cream Sandwich came out today. Quick thoughts:
a. It certainly does look prettier
b. Face detection unlocking- I see as a feature I would never use. Big issues with lighting and sensitivity. I'll have to see what can you do alternatively if you want someone else to use your phone.
c. Stack-able Folders, it'll run closer to my laptop with stacks
d. Re-sizable widgets- I love this, I've been waiting forever. Still have doubts about functionality with this.
e. Taking a screenshot of the phone. Should have been a function built-in a long time ago.
f. Browser updates: Honestly I don't see the browser much but I can see how it can be nice updates.
g. Data Usage monitor: Nice feature. But it's so saddening that it is a nice feature. I think that data limits are ridiculous in the present day.
h. Android Beam (NFC)- I still love it. I can see so much potential but without the user base, it is absolutely useless.
i. Voice-to-text- Very disappointed. Not much of a upgrade, just recognizes pauses? I know there are alternatives like Siri but native support would be great. Maybe even lap iOS with it but I guess not.
j. Contact list- I really like the new look to the contact list. But sadly, the phone manufacturers will probably put their own on their phones. This is probably one of my only complaints with HTC and the other Android phone makers.
k. Panoramic Pictures- Probably the most way I have seen to take a panoramic picture yet.
l. Instant Response- Best feature I think they announced (Not demo-ed). Having preset texts to send if someone calls you while you are already on the phone with someone else. This is great so you can let the person calling know you're busy on the phone already. Verizon users not on LTE may not have this feature work correctly?
Overall, not a huge update. But they never spoke about tablets so we'll have to wait for that and hopefully they have finally integrated phone and tablet development.
