Indiana Bo
The Championship game for the fantasy football league I am in was held yesterday. It was no other than Indiana Bo against "There Can Only Be One". Coming off the regular season, Indiana Bo was 7-7 while the opponent was 9-5 and came off a decisive victory in the semifinals. The favorite was no doubt "There Can Only Be One" coming into the matchup. Indiana Bo definitely was lucky to even be in the championship after narrowly defeating the number one seed last week. Indiana Bo seemingly needed the perfect conditions to occur in order to become victorious.
Indiana Bo has been weak at the important QB position, as the league becomes more and more of a passing league, with Eli Manning (First round draft pick) and Matt Schaub. It was outrageous Indiana Bo survived last week with Eli's measly two points and zero points from there Giant's kicker, Tynes. On the other hand, "There Can Only Be One" had Aaron (A A Ron) "Discount Double Check" Rodgers who was on fire and had an easy matchup against the Tennessee Titans who had nothing to fight for at this point. "There Can Only Be One" also had the player that may had the most coverage all week, Adrian "All Day" Peterson who may have himself his first NFL MVP title.
And so it began, Indiana Bo came out sprinting as fast as the person that the team was named after did in his prime, Bo Jackson. It looked like Indiana Bo couldn't stop and ran into the tunnel fueled by the Cowboy Dez Bryant and his broken index finger. The only person keeping "There Can Only Be One" up with Indiana Bo was the blazing Aaron Rodgers throwing touchdowns everywhere with no mercy no the Titans. The early games were over and the matchup was virtually tied with a RB and Defense left on both teams with Indiana Bo also having Giants' kicker Tynes. Knowshon Moreno against Trent Richardson and Denver against Baltimore. So much of it depended on the Broncos-Browns game. And Denver seemed to have ultimate control of the game leading Indiana Bo to victory!
As Nike put it "Bo Knows". Just as the amazing Bo Jackson did, Indiana Bo performed with greatness and integrity. Indiana Bo came out fighting for for the playoffs and that championship and got it. It was a Festive Miracle that Indiana Bo was going to play for the championship on Festivus coming into the week but it was a Christmas miracle that they won the championship. And "There Can Only Be One" Champion.
