It's All About The Fit

Today at work, I felt off; almost like I was the same person as the day before. After a couple hours, I realized what it was. It was one of the worst moments of the day (It's not like I have 99 problems). I recognized that the reason I felt awkward was due to stretched, no longer comfortable, boxers. Yes, the elastic had been stretched beyond normal wear. Everyone (whether you wear boxers, tighty whities, or regular underwear) knows the feeling. Well, that's not true if you go commando...
I tried to remember why this pair of boxers was in such terrible condition. I, first, thought maybe I lost inches of the limited fat I have in my body, which would be absolutely ridiculous. Then I instantly reminded myself, the real world is a cruel cruel world, filled with bullies. And you thought that kids were monstrous in school... In the real world, there are more of them, they're even bigger, and sometimes more creative!
To be honest, it's probably because of some rough play here or there. No matter the explanation, it's a cruel experience which I will never wish upon someone else. It just feels terrible; they never seem to be in the right place. My boxers were always "riding" up or going too low. Good thing I had my polo shirt tucked in or my boxers' stretched out elastic band could have been showing to the public.
The sock equivalent of this problem is having stretched out socks. Where the heel of the socks "ride" up above your ankle. When you put on your shoes, the creases and folds of the socks create a uncomfortable feeling. Another advantage of living alone is that there is no one to wear and stretch out my socks (I'm not talking about my brother or anything).
While boxers and socks don't get the attention like shirts and pants do, there are just as important. The magical feeling of wearing new boxers/socks cannot be reproduced. And the feeling lasts all day! There may not be an app for this but there is a sock service that solves this problem, Sockscription. If you are looking for more, you can use Manpacks, which helps with boxers, socks, shirts, razors, and even condoms! (I have never used these services)
