Jury Duty Tease

I recently was summoned to serve as a juror before the Allen Superior and Circuit Court. And I was quite excited to finally take part in the judicial process! When I mentioned this to people, the majority of reactions were negative and almost apologetic. I was prepared to attend the courthouse and listen to a mundane case and their associated testimonies. Then, my fellow jurors and I would deliver the justice that the system was created to dish out.

But as such, Allen county has decided not to let me experience the judicial system by having my scheduled trial cancelled.

First, the USA Men's National Soccer Team's loss to Belgium. Now this... How sad.
