Object against Autotune all you want. Express your animosity against Kanye West as a person. Show your disappointment in Mr. West's 808s & Heartbreak. Today, I revisited the album myself. I have been known to be vocal about being disappointed in the album. I just added to the negative criticism that it didn't deserve.
Here is my formal apology to Mr. West. 808s & Heartbreak is an amazing album. I truly enjoy each individual song and the run-through of the entire album is quite the experience. I can listen to "Heartless" for hours without it becoming stale. While very different than his three three albums, this album is just as entertaining and maybe even better than Graduation. There aren't many albums where I can say I like every song in the album, but I can that of multiple Kanye West albums. He's an incredible artist.
I'm so glad I gave 808s & Heartbreak a second chance; all the credit goes to my former Huskymate and his obsession to get "Heartless" stuck in my head. Once again, I'm on a Kanye West kick! I'm amazing.
