Long Term Change

Look at the picture above. You're probably thinking: "It's you." Something is different and it's quite a huge change for me but you'll probably never guess what it is because I have self awareness and it's much more personal than anything else. You can guess if you want, I'll response if you're correct or not. It's like pimples, eye twitching, or getting a routine haircut, majority of the time people will not notice. It's not noticeable because it just doesn't affect you personally (nor should you care).
The country has become a body of self invested individuals to the point we are losing sight of what makes this nation so great. This the land of opportunity and provides a great quality of living (even though we're not #1). It was a great tacit by the opposition to call the Affordable Care Act "Obamacare" because it's conveys a negative demeanor for those against Obama's administration in other aspects; those against have definitely outspoken those in favor of act. But the truth is that the act will provide more Americans with affordable health insurance (especially the mass amounts of people with existing conditions) and reduce growth in spending on healthcare. This is just one step of improving the quality of lives of millions of Americans of many to come in the future; it is certainly not a perfect solution to this gigantic issue and we still have to see the effect (e.g. in big business). We have become so devoted to ourselves and the present that we have lost a sense of long term aspirations and the lives of others. There are things we shouldn't let up on including improvements in healthcare and education, and continued research for advancement.
