Love Obsession

Love is something shown on movies and sang in songs. You truly love something when you suck at it and still continue to do it, even during the hardest of times. I can only say I love only a few things in my life. One of my true loves in my life, tennis. (And it's going to help me win my step competition!)
What isn't there to love about the beautiful of tennis? I love watching it almost as much as playing it. And with the resolution of broadcast television increasing, it's possible. Not to mention the change of the ball color to yellow from white for televising purposes. Much respect to the great tennis players I have watched especially the great tennis player to ever live, Roger Federer. But he wasn't my favorite player to watch, Andre Agassi was. In his late career, the return of serve was amazing. The shot I really want from Agassi, the shot off the bounce, just spectacular!
Tennis is great in every way. I remember getting introduced to the game at Cranston Stadium at nights with my siblings and cousins. I knew baseball wasn't my game. And even being terrible at tennis my first couple years in high school playing doubles, I loved the game. And eventually my passion playing (and watching) paid off, I became first singles my senior year (Yeah, it could be made into a movie with the main lesson being persistent pays off).
Tennis is something I share with my best friends. Relationships have grown through tennis with my brother, DK, Marcus, and so many others (And more to come too, I'm sure!). My brother is only person I haven't beaten yet. I still remember the days where DK and Marcus consistently beat me. The tides turned senior year where I don't think they have defeated me in a single match yet. BOOM!
There is no better feeling than knowing you're about to get a service ace or a winner (especially with the inside out)! This is probably twenty times better than getting a strike in bowling! Yeah, it's that orgasmic! (Downside in tennis: You need someone to play with (Hopefully skilled and fun to play with too). While in bowling, you can play whoever or no one at all!) Something I've been trying to perfect, the drop shot with great spin. Once I get that down, I'll wreck everyone!
Tennis has made me the person I am. It has taught me patience, control, balance, and relaxation. All very important aspects in which I live with. If you ever want to play tennis, just hit me up! I'm always looking for people to play with! (If you like taking photos, I guess I'll let you take action shots of my amazing tennis...)
