The luckiest

Sometimes I feel I'm the luckiest person in the world. It's something I think about on almost a daily basis. My friends and family truly make it extremely easy to think such feelings. I wonder if it is something that comes with the constant smiling and other things I do or if it is truly just by chance?
Or should I not even think about it and just continue this amazing life I'm living? Should I not question why or how I have such amazing people surrounding me? Last night was one of those moments where I was reminded of how fortunate I am, I had some of the most fun I've ever had. The group of friends, plain and simple, are some of the best and most fun people a person can ask for. So I ask you this, can you choose to live this type of life or does it choose you?
I, personally, feel that I fell into this by chance. But it wasn't completely random, I had to make a choice that wasn't the easiest or most comfortable by moving to Fort Wayne. I am 100% positive I made the right decision. So many people in this world are so negative about life, to the point where it affects how they live life. I'm not saying it's the wrong way to live, but I certainly couldn't be happy like that.
This blog post may sound completely pompous but if you don't recognize what you have, can you fully comprehend and appreciate what you have?
As Ben Folds says, I am the luckiest.
PS. I'm so lucky to have written this outside of Mr. And Mrs. Smith's house sitting next to a lake with the sunrise and no clouds in sight! I can even see the beautiful waning moon! Does it get better than this? Probably but this is quite amazing.
