The LucKY Life
With the Kentucky Derby only about two weeks away, the celebration in Louisville, KY starts this weekend. Who knew? I surely didn't until I was told about Thunder Over Louisville by a friend (And hopefully a regular reader of this blog). Being the first year being in the Midwest, I feel like I must experience things that Midwesterners do. Thunder Over Louisville will be a continuation of my quest to enjoy all the traditions of the Midwest. The excitement is just ramping up!
Slight preview of what's to come: An air show and the largest fireworks show in North America! Not to mention bars close at 4am in Louisville...
So today, begins my trip to Kentucky, home of the NCAA National Basketball Champs (As much as I hate to say it). But I will not be close to Lexington, but the other team from Kentucky that made it to the Final Four, Louisville (Of course home of the University of Louisville). If time allows, I will write in this blog. But don't worry, I will be tweeting all about my adventure! So follow me at @MatthewTWHuang. Don't be afraid to follow me and tweet at me!
I definitely will be living the lucKY life this weekend.
With that said: This will take Kentucky off my list of the states I still need to visit. So that leaves: Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
