Macklemore, Dragons, Cannon, Oh My!

I know what you've been thinking. You've been wondering what music I've been listening to lately since you're not a gigolo so you can't spends lots of dough on music. You may only have twenty dollars in your pocket, and since I've impressed hundreds of people with my sense in music, you want my advice on what music to listen to.
Well, I'll just tell you what I've been listening to. First, Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis; you've probably already have heard and became addicted to that saxophone and beat:
Well, I caved in and decided to get their album: The Heist; it was definitely a great decision. The album is amazing and surprisingly "Thrift Shop" is the odd one out in the album. The rest of the album isn't as upbeat and is much more mature (though I really want the Batman onesie). Like Childish Gambino and Hoodie Allen, the duo is very clever and lyrical but the instrumental may best the two previously mentioned (even an intrumental-only track). It will leave you feeling like you can fly with "Wing$". This may be one of, if not, my favorite album of 2012, too bad I only discovered it last week. Props to the duo for the PBR!
Changing genres, the other album I've been listening to is Night Visions by Imagine Dragons. Yes, it's completely different than the previously mentioned album but it's a good change of pace. The album immediately starts off strong with "Radioactive" and doesn't slow down with "Tiptoe" (literally speeds the album up too...). The album has so many different sounds but doesn't stray away from their style too much. I'm on top of the world... You're time will come if you wait for it. I would definitely give Night Visions a listen especially if you like The Killers, The Lumineers, The Fray, or just good music in general.
And by the introduction of this post, you may have realized Nick Cannon's Gigolo was going to be here:
Nick Cannon has been a bigger part of my life than I have previously thought with his part in Nickelodeon's All That, Kenan and Kel, and his most significant role (to me), Drumline. Who can forget all the memorable scenes in that movie, the party scene with the steamy portion between Nick Cannon and the beautiful Zoe Saldana, the epic drum battles (Crazy cymbal dancing), commentary by Stuart Scott (Hope the best for him), and of course the Flight of the Bumblebee ordered by Dr. Lee.
