MJ Year
Good Morning Everyone!
So this year is my Michael Jordan year. Last night, I was reminded of this fact. Then, later into the night, the conversation flowed into how awesome the Chicago Bulls introductions were. As a child, I distinctly remember going to watch the finals of the NBA not for the game but for the intros. It was impressive and captivating with the sounds and advanced technology of light shows. These moments of introducing the players for the game are much more clear in memory than the game. This may because the family I grew up in was not big into sports.
And it wasn't just the legendary Bulls' introductions, with the Alan Parsans Project's Sirius for the music, that I recall though, I also can recall the Seattle Supersonics and Utah Jazz introductions too. The music was not as distinct as the Bulls but Supersonics had their "Supersonics sonics sonics sonics".
As you can tell, the television industry and their amazing work has created memorable moments that I was remember clearly for the rest of my life. These team introductions are not the most exciting, in my opinion, but that's a story for another post.
"From North Carolina! At Guard! 6' 6"! MICHAEL JORDAN!"
PS Should I watch the 1996 Bulls and all of their 72 regular season wins?
