More Firsts
I've been fortunate to experience a few more "firsts" in the past day. Yesterday, I was walking around the apartment complex after I cooked for the second meal of the week (a first in a very long time) and I see a squirrel just standing still in the grass. So I decide to walk up to it slowly (maybe it was just an amazingly carved wooden squirrel), and it moved his arms. So I calmly reach out to pet the cute gentle animal. And for the first time of my life, I pet a squirrel. It was the best! (Too bad I didn't have my phone)

Then, I had the opportunity to partake in the Corporate Challenge representing Raytheon once again. It was my first time playing Battleship. No, I'm not talking about the two-player Milton Bradley game where you yell "F-5" for your first guess; and I'm definitely not discussing the terribly rated movie that came out last year. This battleship game actually involves water: A few canoes in a pool containing sailors with buckets. The objective is to be the last ship standing. It was ridiculously fun but harder than it looks. (To be updated with pictures/videos once I get them from Marv)

Then, I went to Burger King for Whopper Wednesday is feed my appetite after Batteship. While that's absolutely nothing new, I had the new fries (SatisFries) for the first time. After changing their fries almost two years ago (getting rid of the best fries in the market), BK have decided to release "healthier" fries with 40% less fat and 30% less calories. While healthier, they are certainly not better in taste. They are not crisp at all (more on the soggy side) and too much salt was applied in my batch. They remind me of fires that I had in middle school but less crispy. I was extremely disappointed. BK disappointing me is not a first and I'm sure it won't be the last.
